Module Chair Prototype/Concept

This was a project done for a class where we we challenged to create a chair based on a need. I saw a need for chairs that were not simply medical devices to be used by amputees in their homes or at therapy facilities to "de-sterilize" the aesthetic of most medical devices.

I took inspiration from designer chairs meant to be decorative instead of more traditional medical devices. Most furniture available to consumers caters to the able-bodied leaving other consumers trying to mold traditional furniture to their comfort.

This is my rough prototype created to measure the feasibility of this concept.
